Mengatasi Delay, Lion Air Akan Mengganti Sistem Rotasi Dan Schedule Penerbangannya

Lion Air berencana mengganti sistem rotasi dan schedule penerbangan perusahaan. Pasalnya, sistem yang dipakai saat ini sudah tidak mampu meng-cover jumlah frekuensi penerbangan Lion Air. Sehingga ini menjadi salah satu penyebab seringnya maskapai ini mengalami delay yang merugikan para penumpang.

Daniel Putut Kuncoro, Managing Directur Lion Air Group mengatakan, delay penerbangan disebabkan dua faktor yakni internal seperti kesiapan pesawat Selain itu kondisi kru serta faktor eksternal seperti cuaca,  traffic dan lain-lain.

Lion Air berkomitnen untuk melakukan perbaikan di internal agar permasalahan delay bisa di atasi. Menurut Daniel, penyebab sejumlah delay yang menimpa maskapi Lion Air baru-baru ini diakibatkan oleh sistem rotasi dan schedule yang mereka pakai sudah tidak memadai lagi dengan kondisi frekuensi.

"Sekarang Lion Air sudah melayani 600 rute. Waktu kami beli sistem yang kita pakai saat ini, frekuensi masih di bawah 400 rute. Vendor yang kita pakai memang sudah menawarkan optimalisasi tapi tetap saja belum bisa memadai," jelas Daniel.

Oleh karena itu, perusahaan ini memutuskan mengganti aero sistem dengan yang baru yang bisa mengatur rotasi kru dan pesawat. Daniel menargetkan pergantian sistem ini bisa dilakukan dalam dua bulan ke depan.


Selain itu, lanjut Daniel, pihaknya akan menaikkan set crew pesawat lebih tinggi dari ketentuan minimum dari kementerian Perhubungan 1:3:5 untuk mencegah terjadinya delay. Dengan jumlah pesawat mereka yang terus meningkat, Lion Air akan menaikkan set crew menjadi 1:5 atau setiap satu pesawat memiliki 10 kru.

Kemudian, maskapai ini juga akan melakukan tambahan pesawat standby di beberapa kota yang diindetifikasi mengalami masalah beberapa bulan terakhir. "Kami sudah tempatkan beberapa pesawat standby di beberapa kota sesuai SOP yang kita daftarakan. Kami buat tambahan di beberapa kota. kami juga siapkan pesawat badan lebar untuk meng-cover bandara yang bisa didarati pesawat wide body," tambah Daniel.

Lion Air Grup membuka rute Denpasar-Brisbane, Queensland, Australia mulai 31 Maret 2017 melalui perusahaan patungan Malindo Airways dengan menggunakan pesawat Boeing 780-400 Malindo Air.

Penerbangan sekitar 4.492 km dengan waktu tempuh rata-rata dari Denpasar (Bali) ke Brisbane 5 jam 25 menit tersebut akan dilayani setiap hari pada pukul 22.00 WIT dari Denpasar dan pukul 07.00 pagi dari Brisbane.

Penerbangan dengan ongkos Jakarta - Brisbane sekitar Rp2,9 juta per orang, selain membidik wisatawan asing dari Brisbane ke Denpasar juga menyasar penumpang dari Kula Lumpur menuju Brisbane via Denpasar.
