To accomodate the flight demand, the Indonesia airline company - Garuda Indonesia - will add flights from Adisumarmo Airport, Solo for Solo-Jakarta route beginning in November 2009. The additional flight will be added in the morning at around 06.15 o’clock.
"We are adding more flights in the morning, so that the businessmen who have occasion in Jakarta could fly earlier from Solo. So do not need to fly from Yogyakarta," said General Manager of Garuda Indonesia Solo, Shamsuddin told the press at Solo, Wednesday (21/10) afternoon.
Until now Garuda Indonesia is serving Solo-Jakarta route, departing from Solo at 07.45 o’clock, 11:45 o'clock and 17:45 o'clock. Next month Garuda Indonesia departures from Adisumarmo Airport Solo will be changed, in the morning will departure twice at 06.15 and 08.05 o'clock, then 12:50 o'clock noon, and in the evening at 16:40. "The flight schedule will continued adjusted to meet the market demand," said Shamsuddin. Garuda Indonesia hoped that with this additional flight from Solo, is expected to accommodate the needs of people who travel by airplane from Solo, Central Java.
